Wool is a wonderful product to wear as it breathes and stays warm even if it becomes damp so is great for the outdoors. Our woolen hats are hand knitted in Nepal supporting the Nepalese in this cottage industry and at this price you'd be hard pushed to knit it for the same cost, in terms of the cost of the wool and labour!  How cool that the wool has gone as a raw product to Nepal, been hand knitted by people way less fortunate than New Zealander's and sent back as a finished product.
